Welcome to Wednesday Wisdom where I provide snippets of information to help you with your organization's culture. And in this series, I had planned 10 attributes of high performing teams, but just like when I get in the kitchen, extra things happen so there will be two bonus attributes in this series. And remember implementing these involves creating practices and culture that reinforce these principles. Leaders play a crucial role in embedding these in the team's daily operations, ensuring that they become a natural part of the workflow and interactions.
Number 11. Decision making process.
High-performing teams have clear and effective decision making processes. They utilize a variety of approaches; consultative, authoritative, or collaborative, depending on the situation to make informed and timely decisions. This flexibility allows teams to adapt to different challenges and opportunities and ensuring that they can achieve their goals efficiently. Clear decision making processes also ensure that all team members understand how decisions are made and communicated, fostering transparency and trust within the team.
