Welcome to Wednesday Wisdom where I provide snippets of information to help you with your organization's culture. In this series, I will be addressing 10 reasons why transformational change fails in organizations. Let's get started.
Number five. Unclear objectives and vision. If the goals and vision of the change are unclear or poorly defined employees may struggle to understand the purpose and direction leading to disengagement and lack of commitment. Leaders must articulate a clear vision, outlining the desired outcomes and how they align with the organization's mission. Communicating the benefits of change and how it impacts employees directly helps create a sense of purpose and urgency. By ensuring the objectives are S.M.A.R.T. (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound). And regularly communicating progress leaders, keep employees focused and motivated driving the change forward effectively.
